Freelance job for my client, the KDD Board. Lead a small team and developed recommendation engine. One of my passions is enabling students to grow outside of the classroom setting. The goal of the KDD 2012 Matching system is matching students and data mining experts based on academic interests so they connect during the Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD) 2012 conference.

One of the unique attributes of our system is using social connections to include into our matching algorithm. We successfully deployed the system to 1000+ KDD attendees on August 10, 2012, receiving positive feedback from users
